These will be part of the FDM Library Search download. This collection is composed of single bounce ATR
spectra of adhesives and sealants available in retail stores in
Madison, Wisconsin, USA in 2004. The samples cover general use,
construction, automotive, and arts and craft products. Samples include
various acrylates, epoxies, urethanes, silicones and more.
Samples were run wet (out of the tube or jar) and many were
run dried or cured. For example, resin, hardener and cured samples were
run for the several epoxies.
Sample drying or curing was done overnight in open
air on the shiny side of Reynolds Wrap aluminum foil and the samples
where then clamped into the ATR accessory.
The spectra were measured with a Pike MIRacle ATR with a diamond/ZnSe crystal.
