Overview
Volume 1 Polymers, elastomers, fibers and more (1,910
spectra)
Volume 2 Monomers and low molecular weight substances
(1,570 spectra)
Volume 3 Auxiliaries and additives (1,520 spectra)
Special Note: Owning some or all of the Hummel Industrial
Polymers
is as HIP as you get in FTIR. Order today.
These FT-IR spectra were individually reviewed by Professor Hummel.
These compounds are used in industry and were collected from the manufacturers
or research laboratories responsible for their development. Almost all
spectra have been run using high resolution (2 cm-1). Spectra come with
additional information including trade names, manufacturer, measurement
conditions, application, appearance, density and refractive index. Molecular
weight and molecular formula are provided if possible. The Hummel decimal
numbering system enables you to easily identify the compound class
you are working with. This enhanced information combined with the spectra
make the Hummel spectra unique and valuable to all people working in polymer
science!

technical solvents and more.
Volume 3 Auxiliaries and
additives (1,520 spectra)
Professor Hummel’s new enhanced polymer additives and auxiliaries database provides a comprehensive reference source of information for polymer chemists and technologists. Prof. Hummel’s enhanced database contains spectra of new materials that make structural determination and identification of polymer additives and auxiliaries faster and easier than ever before.
The database contains spectra within the following classes:
antioxidants,
stabilizer (including PVC stabilizer),
light stabilizer,
coloring agents,
brightening agents,
fillers, plasticizers,
elasticators,
extenders,
processing agents,
textile auxiliaries,
vulcanization agents and
rubber auxiliaries.
Chemical name indexes are available on request.
