Collaborators Wanted

We are seeking academics with an interest in recording polymer spectra using all manner of spectroscopic instrumentation.

We are seeking academics interested in systematic polymer synthesis projects using our collection of monomers and neat polymers.

Similarly, if you have an existing collection, or collections, of FTIR, Raman, MS, NIR or NMR spectra, please contact us. We will be glad to discuss licensing or buying your database(s).

Please contact us by email, phone or fax.

What we do

FDM provides chemical reference spectra databases of FTIR, Raman, NIR, Mass, and NMR spectra.

1) FDM provides FTIR spectra formatted for use with search software packages from other software and FTIR instrument companies. These software packages offer name, peak and full spectrum searching. These packages are frequently used on a PC operating a FTIR spectrometer and are the most common way people use databases of FTIR spectra.

2) The FDM Library Search, provides downloadable access to FDM FTIR, Raman and NIR databases with a free 14 day trial.

3) FDM is an authorized distributor for the NIST / EPA / NIH Mass Spectral Library and the Wiley Registryof Mass Spectral Data, 8th edition.

4) FDM is an authorized distributor of the John Wiley and Sons Chemical Concepts FTIR spectra, including the Hummel Industrial Polymers and Hummel Surfactants,  and two collections of proton NMR spectra.

We offer our databases on a site license basis to univeristies.
